Dennis Gansel

In 2001 Dennis Gansel celebrated his cinematic debut with the feature film MÄDCHEN MÄDCHEN. Seven years later he presented the drama DIE WELLE at the Sundance Film Festival in the category World Cinema – Drama. At the German Film Awards DIE WELLE received the bronze award for best German feature film. In 2011 Dennis directed the feature film DIE VIERTE MACHT starring Moritz Bleibtreu as the leading actor.

Three years later he directed the renowned actors Jason Statham, Jessica Alba and Tommy Lee for his first american feature film MECHANIC – RESURRECTION.

His latest feature film JIM BUTTON AND LUKE THE ENGINE DRIVER will premiere in spring 2018 in Germany.

From 2000 up until now, Dennis Gansel has directed various commercials with renowned German actors for Haribo, McDonald’s, Fererro, Schwarzkopf and Volkswagen.
